Our thursday evening rides start on the 15th May and leave at 7.00pm sharp. As in the past the route will be on small roads and we tend to keep close to Limavady so new cyclists can turn off early. The distance will be 25 miles max and the pace suitable for schoolboys / new members. THIS IS NOT A TRAINING RIDE.
Bells Hill carpark ( bye pass close to Limavady United Football Club ) 7.00 sharp May to August New cyclists welcome 15 mph max

I was out on last nights ride and the turn out was poor but the sun was out and Seamus was buzzing as we rode along the lanes we were told lots of stories & jokes which added to the cycling . Quality time !!!!

Thursday 22nd-5-08 we had a good ride of 26 miles on the small roads / lanes in the Limavady area with eight cyclists taking part including two new cyclists. We had a nice surprise as our club time keeper Declan turned out and rode well (as he has not cycled for four years) and gave anyone near him some stick in true Declan style. One of our new people had travelled from Garvagh to take part and I hope he will try a few time trials later in the year.

28-5-08 A group of 19 cyclists gathered at the Bells hill carpark on thursday evening with most of North West motor factors staff there. The group of new cyclists done there own thing with a lap of the bridges to start with and the main group rode the lanes around the Limavady area .The group of nine rode 26 miles in the sunny evening and it was good to see Greg Lilley making a come back after being a club member a few years ago. Harry Loughery returned to the bike again along with his son plus two new cyclists which Peter crommie sent so with a few regulars missing this bodes well for the rest of the summer. As planned I managed to keep the ave speed below 15 mph. (14.3)

Thursday evenings continue to flourish with a with regular groups of 6-10 going out (with a total pool of aprox 15). Most are relatively new to cycling but are very enthusiastic turning out in some pretty poor nights.
If you know anyone who cycles who maybe interested - Bells hill carpark (near Limavady United Football club) next to the bypass @ 7:00pm. The runs range from 15 miles - 30 miles. Usually a lap of the Bridges and myroe leaving off beginers then what ever whos left want to do. The pace is also suitable for who turns out.
